My desire is to help everyone in Texas get the insurance coverage they need for their health, lifestyle and peace of mind. I earned my Texas insurance license in 2005 and have experience on the Independent-Broker side of the industry. Utilizing my experience and knowledge of the insurance industry, I am equipped to service all your insurance needs.

My goal is to build long lasting relationships with all my customers. I work with many Texas Insurance Carriers allowing me to shop for the best plan for you. I am always available to help with all your insurance questions and concerns. Honesty and integrity are my core values when dealing with all of my customers. I take pride in representing you as my customer and meeting your needs.

I graduated from Trinity High School in Euless Texas. I retired from twenty-seven years in the Automotive Service industry to work in the Texas Insurance field. I have been married since 1982 to my wife, Sonia. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, stained glass, guns and reloading. I look forward to meeting you.

Ashford Insurance Services was born in 2005 when John and Sonia Ashford first earned their Texas Insurance Licenses and Sonia went to work for United Healthcare helping Seniors with their Insurance. John Ashford became an Insurance Broker so he would not be tied down to any one specific Carrier. John J. Ashford soon after earned his license and also went to work for United healthcare. Then in 2013 the Limited Liability Corporation was founded.

Ashford Insurance Services specializes in Texas Medicare Insurance for Seniors including Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans, (Medigap Plans).

We also offer Life Insurance, Long Term Care Insurance, Short Term Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Accident Insurance, Disability Insurance and Final Expense Insurance.

We are centrally located in Bedford Texas Tarrant County in the heart of the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex also known as the Mid Cities or HEB.
