About Me PAYING IT FORWARD 6 months shy of being a FL native, Nancy spent her adolescence in Tampa Bay. After graduating from Admiral Farragut Academy, Nancy was awarded a Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Scholarship and attended Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Upon graduation, Nancy was commissioned as a United States Naval Supply Corps Officer and served on-board CG-72 USS Vella Gulf in Norfolk, Virginia and ashore at Defense Finance and Accounting Service Pacific in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. After completion of her naval career, Nancy returned to Tampa Bay where she continued to support the Department of Defense as a Logistician for Special Operations Command and as a Logistics Manager for a local shipbuilder.
