Add Tinkerbell To Your Contacts?
Tinkerbell is a sweet, young Siberian Husky mix puppy, about 12 weeks old as of the end of January. Daughter of Sheba (who is also up for adoption), she is the last of Sheba's 9 puppies that Husky Haven has placed in loving homes. Her coat is mostly white and is fairly smooth, and she has 2 big spots of black on her body. A total cutie pie who will grow up to be a striking dog, Tink is waiting for her own family to love. Could that be you?
Tinkerbell is the thoughtful, contemplative type, hanging back and watching all that's going on before pouncing or playing with her exuberant puppy enthusiasm. She was the runt of her litter, but she's got the biggest heart and waggiest of tails and seems very bright. :) Tinkerbell is up to date on all the vaccines required so far at her age, and will be spayed before being adopted out.

Husky Haven of Florida is a registered 501c3 Non-Profit corporation that is run strictly by unpaid volunteers. Husky Haven of Florida does not receive funding from the state or any other government entity and is not affiliated with local government or civic organizations. Instead, the ogranization runs solely off donations and money it raises via events and adoption fees and every dollar Husky Haven of Florida raises goes directly to the care and rehoming of the Huskies that come into our Rescue.
Husky Haven's volunteers are a group of concerned citizens who share a love of the Siberian Husky breed and personally work to save good dogs from euthanasia at the many area shelters run by animal services divisions of Florida's local governments. Almost all of Husky Haven's adoptable dogs were on death row before they were saved, and many of them receive needed medical and nutritional care before they are adopted into their forever homes.
Husky Haven of Florida's mission is the following:
1) To rescue stray, surrendered and endangered Siberian Huskies.
2) To provide support, education and assistance if possible to owners of Siberian Huskies.
3) To educate the public through events and public forums about Huskies and the need for Rescues.
4) To work with other Rescues in helping all animals and their humans enjoy a healthy beneficial relationship .
To adopt a dog from Husky Haven of Florida, you must fill out an application on our website (http://www.huskyhavenfl.com) and then wait to be approved by our organization. Approvals are based on such things as references (including from your veterinarian), dog experience and knowlege, Husky experience and knowlege, living/housing arrangements, suitability of the dog you are interested in to your lifestyle, etc. Husky Haven reserves the right to deny adoption to any person who does not provide a good match or who does not have adequate knowlege, experience or means to own a challenging breed like a Husky.
