Just as sharing a Property SavvyCard to your own business or personal Facebook page will leverage your own Facebook presence to drive potential buyers to your Property SavvyCards, the SellerShare Feature helps you leverage your home sellers’ Facebook presence to drive potential buyers to your Property SavvyCards.

(Don’t forget, you can leverage geographically and demographically targeted Facebook users outside your and your home sellers’ Facebook presence with the SavvyCard Facebook New Listing Ads program.)

SellerShare generates an email to your home seller that includes a link to the SavvyCard for their property and walks them through the process of sharing it to their Facebook page.  This will get your Property SavvyCard in front of a subset of your home sellers’ facebook friends and friends of their friends.  

Not only does this generate additional traffic and attention to your Property SavvyCard, it also allows your home seller to feel a sense of participation in the marketing of their own home.  After all, the only person more motivated for a home to sell than you is the home seller!

You can perform the following tasks in relation to the SellerShare feature:

Adding SellerShare Information from Your SavvyCard Account

  1. Open your SavvyCard account by going to savvycard.com/savvycards and logging in to your account if you are not already logged in.

  2. Locate the Property SavvyCard for the listing you want to add SellerShare information to and click the Share to Home Seller link.

  3. In the Home Seller Name field, enter the name of the home seller as you want it to appear in the email they are sent.

  4. In the Home Seller Email field, enter the email address that you want the home seller email sent to.

  5. Click Save & Send.

Adding SellerShare Information from the Matrix MLS System

Adding SellerShare Information from the Matrix MLS System is a pilot feature that is currently available only to Triad MLS members.

Triad MLS Members are able to jump directly from the Matrix MLS system directly to the SellerShare Information page once they submit a listing or even save it as incomplete.  Note that SellerShare information is not actually sent to the home seller until the listing is active and a Property SavvyCard has been created for the listing.

  1. After submitting or saving a listing as incomplete within Matrix, click the SavvyCard SellerShare to Social Media link.  Note that if you are following a link from Matrix for a listing that has already had SellerShare information added, you will be required to log in to your SavvyCard account if you are not already logged in.

  2. In the Home Seller Name field, enter the name of the home seller as you want it to appear in the email they are sent.

  3. In the Home Seller Email field, enter the email address that you want the home seller email sent to.

  4. Click Save & Send.

Checking the Status of a SellerShare Email

  1. Open your SavvyCard account by going to savvycard.com/savvycards and logging in to your account if you are not already logged in.

  2. Locate the Property SavvyCard for the listing for which you want to check SellerShare email status and click the Share to Home Seller link.

  3. If you have previously entered home seller information for this listing, you will see a status banner at the top of the page that provides you the status of the email to the home seller.  Possible statuses include:

  • Processing – The email for this user has not been sent yet, but is in the process of being created and delivered.

  • Success – The email for this user has been successfully delivered to the home seller.

  • Failure – The email was not successfully delivered to the home seller.

Resending SellerShare Email to the Home Seller

  1. Open your SavvyCard account by going to savvycard.com/savvycards and logging in to your account if you are not already logged in.

  2. Locate the Property SavvyCard for the listing for which you want to resend the SellerShare email and click the Share to Home Seller link.

  3. To resend the email to the email address referenced in the status banner, click Resend Email in the status banner.

    or

    To resend the email to a new email address, update the information in the Home Seller Email field and click Save & Send at the bottom of the page.

 Editing Existing Sellershare Information

  1. Open your SavvyCard account by going to savvycard.com/savvycards and logging in to your account if you are not already logged in.

  2. Locate the Property SavvyCard for the listing for which you want to edit the SellerShare information and click the Share to Home Seller link.

  3. Make the necessary changes to the SellerShare Home Seller Name and/or Home Seller Email.

  4. Click Save & Send.
